About Me

Drew Cashmore is a digital strategist and tech enthusiast living in Toronto. He has a background in strategy and business development and has designed and implemented monetization platforms for three online properties. Drew is currently responsible for marketing, advertising and business development for Walmart Canada’s multi-channel initiatives including eCommerce, social media and mobile. He is a graduate of ‘Communications, Culture and Information Technology: Digital Enterprise Management’ program at the University of Toronto.

At Walmart Canada, Drew leads the team responsible for digital marketing and site monetization and is the Canada business lead for many of the consumer facing portions of the new Walmart eCommerce site.

Drew started his career at an Internet Television company called JumpTV Inc. where he developed and implemented an online sales strategy and supported a U.S. national sales team with ongoing monetization efforts. From JumpTV Inc., Drew moved to MySpace Canada (Fox Interactive Media) where he worked closely across different disciplines to implement a new sales strategy in Canada. He was responsible for conceptualizing and implementing major social media campaigns for corporate clients on MySpace Canada.
